Privacy notice

1. Who we are

The data controller for information collected through this website is ElevareFuel LTD AT 214, Union Street, Aberdeen, AB10 1TL.

2. What we collect

• Waitlist — your name and email address when you sign up to hear from us at launch.
• Contact form — your name, email address, subject, and message when you write to us.
• Market research survey — responses you choose to give us via Google Forms, if we invite you to take part.
• Analytics — usage data via Google Analytics 4 (pages visited, approximate location, device type), collected only where you have given consent through our cookie banner. We deliberately strip URL query strings before they reach Google so signed tokens can never be linked back to a subscriber.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• Waitlist marketing email — your consent under UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and PECR reg. 22. You can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to us.
• Contact form — our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries from prospective customers and partners (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Survey — your consent, given by participating.
• Analytics — your consent through the cookie banner. No analytics cookies or requests fire until you accept.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small set of established processors, each bound by a written data-processing agreement:

• Resend — sends our email and manages the waitlist audience.
• Google Sheets & Google Forms — stores the working waitlist records and survey responses.
• Google Analytics — measures aggregate site usage where consent has been given.
• Supabase — stores contact-form messages on our behalf.
• Cloudflare — hosts the site, provides DDoS protection, and enforces rate limits.
• Lovable — the application platform on which this site is built.

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or on adequacy regulations made by the UK Government.

5. How long we keep it

• Waitlist entries — until you unsubscribe, plus 30 days to complete the removal.
• Contact messages — 24 months from receipt.
• Survey responses — 24 months, then anonymised.
• Analytics — 14 months (the maximum GA4 retention we permit).

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data (access), correct it (rectification), delete it (erasure), restrict how we use it, port it to another provider, or object to a particular use. You can also withdraw any consent you have given at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out.

Send requests to info@elevarefuel.com. We aim to respond within one month.

7. Complaints

If you think we've mishandled your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first — please contact us before escalating.

8. Changes to this notice

We update this notice as our processing changes. Material changes will be flagged on this page and, where required, communicated by email.
